* IMPORTANT NOTE: THE VERSION LINKED TO CURRENTLY IS NOT THE LD VERSION. I ACCIDENTALLY OVERWROTE THE LD VERSION AND DON'T HAVE A BACKUP. PLAY IF YOU WANT, AND LEAVE COMMENTS, BUT PLEASE DO NOT VOTE, AS IT WILL BE UNFAIR TO OTHERS *
This is a real-time space trading game with a dynamic economy. I didn't pack all the features in that I wanted, but I think it's still pretty cool, and I'll definitely polish it up over the next week!
NOTE: Due to time constraints, I didn't have a chance to test the gameplay much, and as a result, the Ludum Dare version is much too hard! Very hard to make a profit, and, as has been pointed out in the comments, getting robbed is essentially game over. Better balance is definitely priority #1 for the post-Ludum version... I hope you won't be TOO harsh in the voting out of frustration.
NOTE 2: I didn't know that submitting source was obligatory. I'm submitting now, but didn't keep a copy of the non-LD version. About two hours of work has gone into this since the end of LD, so don't accuse me of cheating if you decide to compile the source and discover it's significantly less buggy and more fun than the compiled LD version.
Nice. Has a good board-game feel to it. It would have been nice to either stop time when you are stationary, or be able to roll over the material on the right to see prices at each city, so I'm not spending so much time deciding which trade route to take. The gameplay was very well thought out for a 48h game, I like it.
It's not exactly my type of game, therefore I refrain from voting on Overall and Fun. From what I can see it's a very polished entry, but i fail to get anywhere. I've travelled (and walked) back and forth a bit, but wasn't really able to get at higher credits; it did go up a bit though ;)
