9.45 GMT Eventually get the themes for the Comp. Construction / destruction and sheep, oh great. Start thinking ...

10.30 GMT Okay got an idea. Ever played gorillas.bas ? Two towers, one for each player, hurl sheep at each other. Somewhat Python-esq as I was watching Monty Python and the Holy Grail last night.

12.20 GMT Two hours with Paint Shop Pro and I now have some programmer's art that I would actually admit to knowing about. It isn't that good but it will do. If I get time (yeah, right!) I'll redo it using POV or something.

14.00 GMT Peachy! I'm using a language I've never programmed in and a game tool kit I've never used either. It's taken an hour and a half just to get something on the screen, but I think I've got it figured now. Slight simplification in that the towers will now appear infront of the grass, not behind. Saves having another huge sprite containing the ground.

Next let's try to get the towers set up and drawn.

16.10 GMT Bugger. Pygame doesn't handle z priorited sprites properly (at least I think thats the reason that my sprites appear and disappear at random), but I can't fix that now. I'll have to put the towers in the background image and update it as neccessary.

20.30 GMT Okay, the towers are now being drawn correctly and I've got it so that they can grow.

22.10 GMT Yeah! Got a flying sheep. There are still a few problems but they fly and are affected by gravity.

22.40 GMT Giving up for tonight.

10.40 GMT Crap. I'm awakw again.

12.30 GMT Towers are now going up and down correctly.

2.55 GMT Yeah! Sheep are flying from the towers and they go spalt!

5.00 GMT Controls work...

6.00 GMT Got the sheep impacting on the ground as well now and have recorded a few sounds, lets get them added.

7.45 GMT Sounds added. Even got the sheep to shut up after a bit of thought (They kept going baa until they impacted.)

10.00 GMT You can now win, added winning graphics, strength bars and sheep now cause damage (too youself as well.)

11.30 GMT Added repair and tower groth login. Did 1 player / 2 player seletion. Need title

1.15 GMT I tried and good ai and failed, you got a bad ai.
