I decided to do this last minute so kept it kind of secret. Didn't tweet or update, just got my head down and made it!
The story goes something like this : You are a convict in an off world prison facility. A moment to escape rears its head, and you take it. Grabbing the nearby vehicle carelessly left unattended at the gate you make a run for it. Get as far away as you can from the prison before your inevitble capture.
Tools used : Unity 3.4 Pro VS 2010 Modo501 Cubase 4
Great game, really fun, and it looks great too. Once you play it for a while you really start to get the flow and it actually has a lot of depth. There's nothing more satisfying than flying into the air, turning into a tank, shooting down an enemy plane, and then turning back into a plane... except for when you do it while doing a backflip, hah :)
My highest score is 5900, but I bet I could pass 6000 or 7000 if I played a little bit more.
WOW. I can't believe you made this in 48 hours all by yourself. This one is TRULY great, I would play it on kong thinking it was just another great flash/unity game.
My only complains would be the lazors beam being the same color as the background sometimes, which makes it hard to notice who's shotting at who.
Also, I didn't see any heavy purpose or incentive on using the jet engine.
Very very awesome! Love the atmosphere and physics. The game is just quite fun to play. One of my favorite moments is transforming into flight mode and soaring over tanks only to drop down onto them and the running men once you fuel runs out. Great job!
this game is awesome, particularly 'fly mode' which I almost missed! my only crit would be to add the velocity of the vehicle onto the bullet, cos if you get really fast you can almost outrun your own bullets! anyway, one of my favourites so far!
I was confused by the control scheme the first time I played(managed to skip the instructions by accident and expected left/right to be "accelerate"). The second time I "got it" although it ran sluggishly for me on this laptop.
Cool game, awesome graphics and sound but the controls are pretty annoying. Every time I fell upside down I was stuck and every time I was entering the fly mode it automatically switched back after a couple seconds so I couldn't fly D: maybe I got something wrong...
Now I found out that there is a fuel and now it makes a lots of difference. The tank/plane idea is very coll and very fun but still too bad you can't shot forward because you're gonna hit your self. Overall one of the top games no doubt.
Really nice graphics and atmosphere! The first time I played I got upturned right away and it was very hard to recover from that. Second time I made it 3km. I would have liked it if there was some kind of end in sight other than losing all my health (a lot of injuries seemed random and hard to avoid), but a real polished game otherwise...

Great fun and excellent presentation. For some reason I really struggled with the fly mode though. Either my head is just not working, or it really wasn't taking off for me. It'd be nice if the craft lifted automatically from the ground a few CM to give the user the air-control... I was just dragging my sorry-ass along the ground.
Nice idea though. Reminded me a little of Spycatcher, with the vehicle changing... maybe add water/boats next? :D
Impressive game. I like the overall look. But what is the raising fuel supposed to mean? In my first play I got stuck on top of an enemy tank which I couldn't should but was shooting my bottom side.
Fantastic game. I got up to 6109 meters. I really love the plane/car switch mechanic, especially because I found it to have multiple uses: stabilizing your vehicle, flying above groups of enemies, helps in maintaining your momentum.
The one major criticism that I do have is that you should really add autofire to the gun. It's just not that fun to have to keep hammering the button, and it's probably not good for your mouse either. :P
I think this game could get really interesting if you added more enemy types and maybe boss fights and stuff. The mechanics could support a larger game.
Love the mood. A few minor physics problems though(I still don't know how come a dude was standing high in mid air firing his gun at me but...). A great entry indeed. Love it.

Loved the game. Great atmosphere and music. First try I made 1000 meters. Second try I figured out how the jet works and made it over 20,000. :) The dichotomy between the tank and jet forms works phenomenally.
