Vampire runner is some kind of Canabalt where you have to avoid obstacles by using a super power to move through them. The original idea was to be escaping from the Sun light, that is why you play a Vampire, but I forgot to add the Sun... small detail :(
Instructions - PC: use click to activate super skill Instructions - Android: touch screen to activate super skill (note: on Android looks a bit wrong because I did the game for another aspect ratio).
I went in to this game skeptical. "Canabalt but you just run through walls? How could that be fun?"
I was happily proven wrong though, it's a fun little timing game. I like how it kind of strips out all the unnecessary complications and is just a pure simple timing challenge. Graphics are pretty, although the walls are rather bland. Didn't really feel like I was Escaping anything, just running. If I was running from something, I didn't really get that.
Yeah, it is a bit incomplete in that, the first idea was to make the "vampire" to run away from the sun but then I never added the sun light following you so it doesn't transmit the idea of escaping.
