Viral is a 2D top-down escape game. You are a Virus. The objective of the game is to escape the anti-viruses who are trying to catch you, to delete you, for as long as possible. There is no win condition.
There are three viruses with different behaviors:
Scanner(Purple Magnifying Glass): Slow, but will always follow you
Integrity Checker(Blue Alarm): Will only give chase if you get too close
Emulator(Yellow E): Fast and will hone in on you. Only lasts for 30 seconds at a time.
To aid in your evasion you are given two traps to use:
[/0] - Logic Bomb - Roots the first anti-virus who runs into it in place for 5 seconds
[?] - EPO - After a 2 second activation period, the EPO will become part of the map for 13 seconds and block anything around it
Known Bugs:
Anti-virus pathing is still a little iffy at times. I ran out of time to polish it. I'm sorry!
You will experience some slowdowns if a lot of anti-viruses need to generate paths all at the same time. As above, I wasn't able to fix it in time!
No music disable feature - Ran out of time!
