Made in 48 hours with FlashDevelop. Try not to look at the source though, it will burn your eyes :( Big thanks for the maker of SFXR, DrPetter. I wouldn't have had time to make my own sound effects :)
This game is fairly bland. Without anything like powerups or an upgrade shop, most games like these are dropped in a matter of minutes. With some slight modifications, this game could be a lot more fun.
Particle ans ship control are great but there's something wrong with the scrolling. It feel like you control where the asteroid are falling just by moving. If meteor and meteor's flames are in the same system, scrolling should not affect the direction of the meteor tail.
The particle effects were good and the ruined buildings gave the sense of alone, but the game lacks some deep and is pretty boring after a short while.
Nice little game, what's there feels solid and relatively well polished, but as other said a bit more content would go a long way to make it more enjoyable. Congratulations on finishing on time though :)

Less awesome: - After a while became just a game about sitting on the left side of the screen and watching explosions. - Meteors increased after a point, but it was anti-climatic since they all got destroyed before getting to me. - Not really having an incentive to go to the right side.
