Lonely Tower

A game about leaving behind

A young man is captured in a tower. Seeing the door is shut, he decides to climb the tower to the top, in hope to find the switch. On his journey he gets helped by some young girls who are also captured in this gigantic tower.

Lonely Tower is not only about being alone. It's about leaving behind, and the consequences of that.

Hi everyone!

I started saturday 7:30 with my game, and at 1:00 am monday I was done. I've only slept 7 hours between those times, wich isn't really special or something, but just to let you guys know.

The first half hour I was looking for an idea, and I'm not sure how I got this idea, but I was thinking about working together, where you have to leave someone behind.

Yes, there are bugs in this game. Some big bugs. But there just wasn't enough time.

I learned a lot of this Ludum Dare. A lot about programming, about planning. I really enjoyed the community and was talking on the IRC chat half of the time. People there gave me the motivation to go on, when I was about to quit.

The most important things I wanted to improve were the level features, and the amount of levels. Right now the game isn't really long, but I hope it can amuse you for 5 minutes or longer.

For everyone who has found the secret kitten: Awesome!
Please send me a message or write a comment about that you found it. But please don't spoil where you found it! Thanks.

Everyone: Thanks for playing this, thanks for reading this, thanks for making Ludum Dare such a great community. I love you guys.

Greetings, Daniel Haazen / Sheep
