Well, theres not much to say about the game itself, its quite simple and straighforward, just a few things to keep in mind while playing it: _ The goal would be to find your way back home, i just didnt make it clear enough on the intro (will try to fix that) _ The game is absolutely NOT finished, and doesnt have an ending, after the last level just draws you back to the menu, im definately thinking to continue working on it after the compo _ The controls are the four arrow keys, Left/Right to walk, Up to just and Down to sit!
Love the graphics (although, they seemed to have glitched a bit, duplicating the visuals in the top left 1/4 of the window... strange). But gameplay was amusing, I like the "sit" mechanic at the beginning.
Ralkarin; That is probably an issue with your graphics card, probably a bad driver (its a commom GameMaker issue when using non 2x surfaces), ill see if i can fix it when i get home, no promises trough ;)
A game about a cat, yay! I really like the simple graphics and the nice water. I was a bit put down by the harshness of it, though; it seemed collecting the orbs was really inefficient, but having only 4 lives is pretty unforgiving. I would have loved to play more of it.
Really beautiful graphics. I LOVE the kittie! The sitting animation is awesome and the water reflection and general colour palette is superb. Keep up the great work.
I had a crash when diying after taking the big orb at lvl3. The graphics are very nice, and minimalist sfx really fit in the athmosphere. Great entry !
Really liked the graphics and the cat animations and the mean neglectful pet-owners (who seemed to leave their cat to fend for itself? Maybe it was a nasty cat, certainly not a very nice cat to earn such hatred from its owners... Maybe they reckoned it was its time, seeing as it had only three lives left...)
hahah black, tehy forgot about him, i tried to make it so that it looks like an 'accident' but hey, who forgets about his cat on a road trip anyway? :P
