One Man Alone in the Darkness (OMAD) is an action / survival / arcade / Slash 'em Up game where you play as a man trapped underground.

The aim of the game is to survive against the monsters and level up to unlock all 5 swords.

The game uses Adobe Flash as a platform.

Timelapse video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWThOd09lDI

Software Used:

Flash CS4 Professional (with ActionScript 2.0) - general development and animation;

Wally - floor texture;

ASEprite - sprites;

Paint.NET - general image manipulation.

One or two code snippets (such as those used to make objects rotate) were taken from some of my older projects.

The .swf can be used to upload to websites - feel free to upload to your website - just please give credit to me.

I would recommend using the Web version, as it is the most likely to work, and you should be playing the game in quite a small amount of time.

Platform specific versions should work, but they are quite large.

Use the .swf version if neither of the above work. Most web browsers with Flash Player installed are likely to run it.

The source is going to be quite hard to understand as it is very unorganised. As far as I am aware, Flash CS4 Professional or higher is required to open it - but you may be able to open it with other software.
