Test your survival mettle against the elements, as you wander the deserts alone looking for food and water to keep you sustained!
The longer you spend in the desert without food and water, the closer you get to...well...let's call it not surviving. Pick up a rock to bash open a cactus and get access to the sweet moisture inside, or throw it at a snake for a tasty uncooked snack.
The further you wander, the harder it gets to find the things you need to stay alive. How long can you survive?
I wish I'd slept a little less on this one, couldn't quite get the polish level up for the end (some weirdness with high scores, a memory leak I didn't have time to track down), but overall it really captures that lonely feeling I wanted to create.
I played through without reading directions at first, so it was actually kind of fun to discover that you could pick up rocks (but being told that you can interact with things with the LMB would have helped). I enjoyed the concept, lots of cool stuff you could do with this game. Nice job.
This was actually quite fun. "I wandered around the desert for a bit, then I smashed open a cactus with a rock and drank the cactus water, then I got hungry so I ate a snake." Every part of that sentence is pure awesome. I'd love to see you what you end up doing with this.
Fits the theme well and I like the idea, but it was no fun for me :( I died serveral times without knowing why, didn't manage to kill a snake and fell of the world ^^
Good idea but after drinking from first cactus and killing first snake it becomes boring :/ + I fell out of the world too :D ...add some invisible walls or create hills all around the desert ;)
I enjoyed the concept, lots of cool stuff you could do with this game. Nice job.
