This game is from the old Ludum Dare platform. You can try viewing the original page on Web Archive

Stinky Pete is a game coded in Blitz3D (plus a little php) for the competition Ludum Dare 22.
The other software I used is as follows:
sfxr - sound effects
Paint.NET - creating graphics and level files
TuxGuitar - composing music
ETNA - DLL which allows the game to connect the online high-score database
It was created by Martin Cooke on behalf of Drytree Studios.
I worked solo, created all the code and assets within 48 hours and have included the source.
Enjoy :)
* 'improved controls' version - several people reported problems controlling Stinky Pete so I added acceleration and deceleration to his movements. This is the _only_ change that I have made. It took fewer than 10 minutes to implement and as I had the original version submitted with nearly 2 hours to spare I don't consider it too significant a change... but it is a change that happened after the deadline so I offer it only as a secondary download link - the original version remains intact. Please judge whichever version you wish :)
P.S. Merry Christmas everyone!
