You progress through time by walking to the right. As you walk in your tiny world, you will meet other characters along the way
Try interacting with them by jumping (but don't overdo it), waiting near an other character can also be considered as an interaction, some won't like if you stand too close before they know you better, so try standing a little bit farther. It all depends of their moods...
I know the game is a little bit "experimental", but I hope you'll enjoy the experience :p
