The link to the Windows binary just seems to be a zip file with source code. There is no executable.

if you could include the libstdc++.so.6 file you linked against that'd make it a lot easier to run, can't really test as that would mean modifying the gcc toolchain on my system and that's not really an option.

Doesn't work for me, I'm afraid. You seem to have built with a different version of libGLEW (1.6) to what's on my system:
/usr/lib/libGLEW.so.1.5.2
