The game totally crashed when I tried to quit it after finishing, apart from that...
WHOA, that was awesome! Graphics are cute, humor is great, I laughed so hard at the end. A bit short, but who cares.
Sound and controls are nice too!

it may come from several point =
first it's coding using processing wich is by it's own not that fast,
second I code only for fun and learned by my own and so I do a lot of stupid redondant things that slow down everything more than ever !
third it may not work on a C64

OH MAN this is beautiful. The sound is superb as well. Too bad it only lasts like a minute and a half, though. Decided to jump to this game based on your excellent post mortem.

Lol. This game had an awesome feel about it. I was all set to go on an epic adventure when the game ended incredibly abruptly (most unexpected ending ever!). Nice mood - it left me wanting more!

I actually laughed out loud in the ending, and for quite a while. Very original art style!

Is it possible to lose this game? After fighting a few monsters the health bar looked like it had gone negative. Also the island shrank down to less than the size of pixel - i.e. it was completely invisible - some time before the game ended.

Great, funny, unexpected ending. I tried to lose, and the island got smaller and smaller, but I guess the pirate was bluffing with the whole bottle thing.
