I wasn't a fan of the theme of Evolution but I didn't want to not take part!
The idea of a day to remember is that the dinosaurs are about to be wiped out and with your last remaining minutes you have the chance to try and save yourself and your brothers and sisters by coming up against harsh realities in life and then mating with your partner to give your children a better life.
You do this by inspecting objects in the environment, if an exclamation mark pops up you need to go back to your partner and see just what you've done for your children.
The game is far from complete, I was pushing it getting it done for the Jam, so I obviously just set everything a bit too high. Plus I probably didn't make it in the neatest of ways. It's super buggy and doesn't have an actual goal due to time constraints or any threats which were all planned by did not make it into the final game. I also didn't get the time to record or add in sound effects which really annoys me as I always aim to get something in.
I made it in Game Maker HTML5 although early in development it decided that the game wasn't going to run in HTML5 so I decided to just go for Windows instead of waste lots of time. Which was then spent on different bugs that weren't hard to solve but took me forever to realise it.
I wish to thank you in advance for playing my game if you find the time.
