it sure fit the theme well. as fun as each of the games that were in there are on their own, I think for your second LD you should make an attempt to create something original and exciting. but still, well done, mate!
I like your interpretation of the theme. I got up to the space shooter level (not sure what game that level was a homage to) before losing. Although I realize it would be difficult given the time restrictions, I would have liked to have seen the games "evolve" at a faster rate - e.g., after Pong or Breakout you could have had Pitfall, and then Super Mario Bros, eventually moving up to Street Fighter and Call of Duty... though, obviously, that's an extreme example ;)

How clever! I love the concept of capturing the evolution of gaming itself in a game!! It could have been a bit more engaging since some of the games took too long to beat. Maybe have a countdown until the next evolution and the player tries to score as many points as possible per game? That way it's faster paced but the effort put in still matters. Overall, great job!
The idea fits the themes and the three game are well executed. The game stop after space invaders, I don't know if it's the end or not. In case, it could be great to put a screen to inform that the game is over.
I liked the transitions between the games. There was some bug that prevented space invaders from restarting even if I had still 3 lifes yet. After space invaders there should be asteroids :)
I really like the concept, and especially the transitions between segments, but there were a few things I didn't like:
- The game of Pong doesn't seem to have any purpose since getting the ball past the other player didn't earn me any points, - The Space Invaders take far too long to come onscreen and it's annoying to have to sit there and wait for them to do so! - The game crashed after the Space Invaders segment and wouldn't let me see the next game.
You did a great job though, and I enjoyed it anyway!
