EVOLVES! is all about evolving the fastest.
Destroy your enemies to evolve. Become the first to reach the ultimate evolution to win.
WASD to move. Arrow keys to shoot.
The game is loosely based on an old StarCraft custom map called Evolves. I dumbed down the gameplay a lot and made it very fast-paced and action-packed.
First time using FlashPunk. Didn't have the whole 48 hours to work, but picked a short, simple game to complete with what little time I did have.
If I had more time, I would've added music, better notifications for what's going on during the game, and integrated the background into the action somehow.
