Surprise and less hand-holding in games is a good thing.

This is a pretty solid game. The way it goes along with the theme is near perfect.

Pretty nice and simple. It'd be nice if your spawns would move with you without having to repress the movement keys.

Nice game, although the controls are a bit annoying. Especially having to release and press the keys again to make the new things move.

Yeah I know. The control bug is one of those bugs I did not have time to fix.

Hi, the game repeatedly (4 times) froze out on me after I got 10 cells on the first level. Any idea why that might be? (Both the kongregate and the dropbox version)

That sounds strange... hmm. I will look into that.

Anyone else have the same problem? I can not find anything. What browser do you use?

Nicely polished game with a game mechanic which probably exists out there but hasn't been used much, good work.

The sound loops a little too soon for my liking, but the graphics are really nice :)

One of the most fun mechanics, i've played so far... and quite well executed. Good job! ^^

Very nice game! I enjoy the mechanic and could see a full game being made of this. Only thing I ran into was a way to game the system. If you multiply near a wall or run into a wall, you can get all your cells to become 1, making it much easier to avoid everything. Not sure if that was intended or not.

I thought that "feature" was nice to have. So that behavior is intended.

Good game, cool idea. It would be cool if there were checkpoints, it was kind of annoying to have to restart every time you died.

Nice good and goes very well with the theme. One thing I noticed is that you can ram yourself into a corner and all your spawns will then overlap you and the game becomes much easier that way, not sure if that's supposed to be part of the game mechanic.

i dont think that evolution is working the right way, especially when you are moving while evolving. also, it would be better if you evolved by holding z, not pressing it

Simple but very fun game!

Nice. The graphics are pretty good and you had some nice sound to follow suit, but unfortunately you didn't focus on the areas your game needed focus the most. It would have been good to work a bit further on the gameplay and control side of things. I didn't particularly find mashing x while in a corner and running to another corner when enemies got close to be the best way to enjoy this game, and thought that could have been explored a little further. Aside from that, this is a decently polished experience.

At first I thought: button bashing and dodging the enemies, is that all? But I was mistaken. The way your group changes shape when you hit walls, and the effect movement has on the way you "evolve", make this an interesting tactical game, though like others said, pushing yourself into a corner makes it too easy. But the graphics look really good, and the sound is among the best I've heard so far.

Lovely interpretation of the theme, good work. Pressing the z button repeatedly got a little tiresome but the game was fun and looked good.

Quite good, loved the graphics. Having to restart everytime from start was a bit repetitive though :)
