Hey there, I didn't want to rate it just yet because it seems that the space bar doesn't work. The toothpick never jumped when I pressed it. I think you'd be fine submitting a patch if it really is broken. Has anyone else seen this problem yet?
I made it to the final stairs that climb off into the distance and couldn't figure out where to go / what to do next so I went back, jumped in the pit, pushed the ball, broke the structure, then got stuck, so then I quit.
The atmosphere is bizarre. While no effort was given to the theme I appreciate the randomness. The combination of high and low fidelity art assets was off putting at first but it I felt it fit the random nature of the world. Physics were buggy but easy to get the hang of. The invisible bounding volume of the sprite makes jumps awkward. It was worth playing and exploring and I had fun.
I couldn't seem to get this to run. I am using Chrome 21.0.1180.82 on a Mac. After a long time the title screen came up, but it seemed cut off within the box somehow. When I pressed play, the game area went black for a long time and eventually Chrome popped up the "this page is not responding" error.
Wow that was psychedelic ! When I had double jump, I could climb to the... roof ? but after that I continued to the right, went on a strange white platform. At this point music stoped because I think there's no loop. And then when I was really sure I was out of the bound of the level, there was this strange elevator going up at very high speed. It bring me up to some weird place and on my first jump the whole ground disappear with nice clouds, letting me falling in the orange sky. For ever.
Wow, this game is drugged out ;) Definitely had an original style, reminded me a concept album art for a 70 psychadelic band. The platforming gameplay didn't work very well though, and couldn't tell what the objective is. But great work finishing, visual style is great.
Quite a strange looking game. Could use a bit more than basic platformer mechanics to be interesting gameplay-wise, but it's quite a good first attempt!
I love the style! Too bad the gameplay is so wonky. You really need to get the controls perfect if you're going to require such exacting jumps and have such punishing falls. Please improve this, and make more games like it! :)

Can't really rate it because it's so odd.
