Little City

I ran out of power while placing a house (three houses, one park, one power station already existing), and a big "Epic Fail" flashed up on screen. The real fail is that this message would not go away. :p I'm running Firefox 14.01.

This would have fit better for the last theme (Tiny World). However, I enjoyed the simple gameplay, and the satisfaction of watching my town earn money. I couldn't solve it and get 20 research, but I did have millions.

I had fun with it! I can see where you were going with the theme, but without any real need to demolish any buildings and replace them with something else, it doesn't really feel very evolution like.

Very good fun, managed to do it after the third attempt. Sounds are sometimes a bit annoying though, but that's my only criticism.

@NatNoBrains: I couldn't help the sound, well I could've if I'd actually planned it out, I had completely forgotten about it till 30 minutes before the deadline.
@Desi Quintans: With the Epic Fail staying there, I had assumed people could just refresh the page. I can understand now though that it would get annoying after a while. I'll just add an R key to restart(I can do this right? its not altering gameplay.)
@AndyBrown: I know what you mean. I guess I could have made it so the buildings wore our over time or something. oh well.

Not bad idea and gameplay but a little boring. I hope you upgrowth it in future!

It's a very charming game, loved the miniture city idea. I couldn't quite figure out how to play though?

I liked this :) Not sure why, but I got an Epic Fail but was still able to go on to win and get my Epic Win.

Well... I like the game itself (Made something pretty similar many years ago^^) but it lacks of a real challenge and even though it says "EPIC FAIL" you can keep on evolving your city (By selling the buildings that lead to the fail you can get positive money again) and as soon as you reach 20 research the EPIC FAIL turns into an EPIC WIN, which somewhat ironic referring to EPIC FAIL. (I noticed this the opposite way when I won and then sold some crucial buildings after winning, then I tested it the other way around)

I went through this game. Cute one, i like this. Not so epic, just good small game.

I like the idea of an almost puzzle like city building experience. And I'm happy to say that I got the Epic Win ;-)

I guess I never thought that you could win after you had negative money! that makes me laugh a bit.I'll leave it in there, just because.

Argh, just the BXFR noise is too much for a repetitive sound.

This was a fun little game.

Nice City sim! Easy to play, would love to see roads added to gamplay to make relations between building.
