My Sword Is Faster Than Your Bullet

That is crazy fast. Really cool spin on the theme. I cant really understand why certain characters are not allowed, couldnt get past the second level.

Get to the third. Very hard and addicting.

@adventureloop: Because he's a guy refusing to accept evolution. So if you type any of the keys in "E" "V" "O" "L" "U" "T" "I" "N", you will get punished!

@tumoxep: I shared it with some friends and so far no one have completed the whole game (though some reached level 5).

I agree it's way too fast. With some balance could end being a fun game. Good job! :)

Very interesting spin on the theme and I like your concept. Only problem I have so far is that there's no feedback towards the player once he does something wrong. When I type a wrong letter I should get some sort of audio or visual poke.

While it was interesting, I didn't stick around till after level 4 (which was easy enough if you ask me). It's just a personal thing that I don't like typing games.

It's an interesting idea, but I don't think it works too well.

Like, it's a good typing game, but having to remember to avoid certain letters is just annoying and not fun. Just my 2 cents.

Man, that's challenging! I need to hack a special keyboard so I can't type the forbidden letters and try this again:)

I like the idea of simulating a sword/gun duel with typing. However I am not that good at typing. I know some people who would get a real kick out of this game. One thing this game could use is more animation. It would be more dramatic if it showed the swordsman parrying bullets.

Very innovative, unfortunately typing games aren't really my thing (sorry!). There seemed to be a big difficulty jump at level 3, but that may just be my poor typing skills...

I always forget how fun typing games are. I'm impressed that you made something fun and with ramping difficulty for the compo. Did get boring after a few levels... needs some additional gameplay variation I think. Doesn't seem like you can get shot? I was expecting to get shot when I lost.

This is fun, and it got really hard a few levels in (which I liked). At first I didn't realize that the forbidden letters were hurting me, playing a 'bad sound' would have been helpful.

The concept of the game is a little out of left field, haha. And I'm not sure what swords and bullets have to do with typing and evolution... :P Having the letters overlap makes it pretty hard. I didn't get past level 4. Anyway, not bad.

Cool but really hard. I seemed to hit a bug where it didn't pick up any key presses after a while.

One of the Assembly partys had an entry where you typed in the appearing words above the tables to keep them quiet but aside from that I never saw an idea like this. Nice one!
