RIVE is a game about evolution! By splitting you create mutations of yourself which have slighty different properties. Each offspring has the potienal to become a great lineage! But each offspring also need control and since multitasking is hard you just control all at once! Which offspring will you favor and lead to a great destiny, which will you condemn to a quick but brutal death!
You can control your offspring with W A S D. By pressing SPACE you can split to double your offspring. Press R for restart and Esc for a quick break!
Neat game. When I would split it was hard to tell if they changed in any way except for growing larger. I did manage to make it through a couple of splits but I mostly stuck with my original guy.
I didn't understand what "different properties" meant. Can they collide with shapes in certain colors, for instance? Tried my luck for five minutes and gave up. It's too hard an Asteroid to master =) The density is a bit too much and the screen got really small after splitting.
