To play the game you can download binaries for your platform or the Source/Universal file. The Universal file can be opened if you have LOVE installed on your computer. Also the .love file can be unzipped to have a look at all source code and data.
Seems fairly fun, I got nearly to the end (or what I assume is the end), before the game crashed on me. I couldn't quite figure out the evolution aspect of it, though... did the ameboids evolve when two different colored ones came together or something like that?
I liked the combining amoeboids idea :) I didn't realise it was them creating the yellow for a while though, so didn't think it was dangerous until too late :p
the side-view of the character in combination with top-down levels and controls was a little confusing at first. i like the initial animation that scrolled to the player start-position.

still, looked good, was fun (and frustrating) and kept my attention (till it crashed)
