love this! definitely the most fun entry I've played so far. the level design flows really well, and I always want to keep playing. fantastic job, you guys!
I'm glad someone did an online game :) The pixel art is superb, cute and coloured, the music is awesome, the gameplay classic but always great. I fucking love this game.
Amazing to me that anyone can get an online game done in this time, but one so polished. It's.. wow. well done. It's obvious how fun this game is from how high the high score is already. (unless that was one of you ;P )
Awesome! I'm really impressed that you had it so polished in such a short amount of time. I could hack the server, but that only enhances my experience :P
One tiny-ass detail is that the spikes didn't have enough visual contrast, so they were hard to avoid while moving quickly.
Was able to connect and play for quite a while. Can't seem to know how I can acquire a bomb so I can wipe the smile out of the current top score holder haha.
Really great idea :D Sadly, I am very bad because I never notice the spikes until too late, and I'm too clumsy to hold onto shoes/bombs/jump to make any use of them. I think a simple chat feature would have been cool - to make it a bit more social since I suck at the game :p
nice game, it's difficult and irritating that the shoes don't seem to have any effect. I didn't know you get bombs/doublejump when you pick up another "shoe"-powerup :D Wasn't really able to test the powerups because I died so fast. Well done, good game.
I really enjoy seeing online games appear in Ludum Dare, especially ones so polished. The graphics are lovely, and the music is probably some of the best I've heard so far. I managed to get a top score of 45 by the way! ;) (Also, is there a way to download that song?)
Nice game once I got it working. For some reason the first time It didn't connect and I was perplexed because the coins etc. didn't update. The disconnect warning is perhaps a bit too small ;)
Otherwise very nice idea and it sort of builds the gameplay on its own. Music and sfx is also very nice.
For some reason I became obsessed with playing this game until I set the high score on the server. ;) Nothing too crazy, 883 I believe. Anyway, great job, very fun game... wish there were other people playing so I could have seen the competitive side of it.

I think I have seen enough naked armless man in this game to last a life time. The platforming felt good, but it felt I died too quickly. Probably this is from my own lack of skill.
