A game about the survival and evolution of a species.

Sadly we weren't able to finish it on time, but I'll post what we got running and we'll keep working on it.
There's not much gameplay at the moment, but here's a list of some started but unfinished features:
- Better control of the swarm / camera - Ability to kill / be killed - Procedural generation of animals at start and after each "level" - Mating minigame - Online leaderboards

Sad indeed. This being my first unity project, I am quite certain that the next compo will go more as planned. Thanks to villhest for his guidance on how to use the Unity IDE and thanks to bitslap for his awesome graphics! /zyark
Yeah, I get the "Install Unity" page as well. A shame, as this looks great. (and I definitely have the Webplayer installed... I've just been playing a few Unity web games).
Nice graphical style! With more time to work on the gameplay it could still be really good, possibly with an old-style "Bullfrog" feel to it. Plenty of potential there!

It looks pretty, but I can't figure out what I am supposed to do.
Windows version: "There should be 'LD24incompleteWin32_Data' folder next to the executable" Web version works fine, I can't figure out how to play it though.

I built it on Mac. I'll try to make a standalone Windows build. What happens when you try to run it?
Thanks! That solved it, at least for me! Now it works in Chrome as well as Safari.
