This is a game based on the first stage in Spore.
You are a little blobfish that wants to evolve to a sharklike fish.

In order to reach that goal, You need to eat other fishies, and run away from the bad fishies. Simple enough right? :)

This was my first LD and I really enjoyed it!

The game won't start on my PC. Windows 7 64Bit. When I click either of the two executables (why are there 2 of them?) nothing happens. No error displayed.

@timtipgames It happened to me a couple of times that 64 bit versions of windows won't run the games that well. It should be fixed when you have both the files listed at the top of the page installed. I hope this helps. thanks for the comment! :)

Very good music and sfx. Gameplay gets repetitive after a short while.

Fun to swim around with the fish, though the controls felt a little strange at first (steer with both mouse and keyboard). Also couldn't tell at first if I was hurting/eating the other fish or getting hurt myself. Nice soundtrack.

The music and sound effects were great! This was very addicting... I loved the gameplay and the controls worked perfect for me. The art wasn't that great an detailed but it fit the mood of the game. Good work! This is one of my favorites!

Looks like a really well-balanced gameplay difficulty. The absence of any health powerups made it quite hard. I had fun playing it. Quite pleasant music!

Good difficulty scaling, fun concept. A bit wacky controls sometimes, seems like special attack freaks out. Good sfx and music!

It's an all right game I think. I liked the different phases of evolution. The music was really good.

Cool game well done. The controls were a bit weird but you get used to them. I like the music and sound effects.
