It is war. The evolution theory caused turmoil and rebellion all around the world. The mad scientist called Darw declared the human's ancestors are apes! His followers formed a massive army of devils, heretics and homosexuals that march to holy city of Rome. All faithful must defend the church with help of all saints and angels. For creationistic theory!
It is war, indeed. Blinded idiots who refuse to accept modern science decided to attack us. They still believe the world has been created in seven days. We are last flame of understanding and wisdom, that can give light to all humanity. But first, with the help of modern research, we must drive back these fanatics and put end to obscurantism. For evolution theory!
The point is to control as big part of land as you can. Where your last unit stands, there is end of your realm. You can train units in your fort, which can be upgraded. To get access to more powerful troops, you have to build some supports buildings. Gold is from fallen enemies, faith (or wisdom) from land you control. Enjoy. And prepare for last fight.
