Due to a combination of lacking the ability to 'art' and wanting to try out something different, I kept (for the most part) within the constraints of the Gameboy: 160x144 resolution, 4 color palette and 8x8 sprites.
The general idea of the game is to take out all the targets in the level (cops are optional, but be careful because they will shoot you on sight if panic is high, and recognise you if you get too close). Any time a target sees blood or a murder, the panic level will increase. If the panic level gets too high, the targets will avoid you and the cops will chase and shoot you.
Controls: WASD/cursor keys to move SPACE to attack SHIFT to clean
this is fun. the transitions(fades) are a bit slow. I wish I could move through the levels quicker without it fading and going to various screens and only go to the store through a menu or something when i pause. making the play quicker would make it more exciting. good job.
I watch a lot of Dexter lately, so this is fitting. Love the blood-cleaning mechanic. It wasn't very challenging near the end once I had the powerups. I would have liked it if there was some kind of reward for never causing a panic, since that tends to be a much harder way to finish a level. Still, the graphics were lovely (the monotone colors make the blood stand out -- stylish).
Simple as they may be, you got a lot out of the mechanics and strategies at hand. The clear level progression is pleasant and held my interest all the way to the end.
Fun game, good art simple but nice sounds and good level progression. Sometimes the game sort of flickers and afterwards the cops and targets appear somewhere else but that didn't bother me to much. Great work for the 48 hours!
Well made! This was one of the most fun entries I've played yet, in spite of having buggy collision and getting a little easy towards the end. The graphics, although very simple, had a uniform aesthetic and looked quite nice.
Great game! My only real complaint is that it is too easy to get stuck when trying to enter 1-tile corridors. Good build up of difficulty. Killing cops earning extra money was great addition and made it possible to make harder levels easier once you took care of a few of them. Loved the store items.

Sure, it's morbid, but the cleaning up blood is such a great idea. Wish there was a frantic scrubbing animation for it though.
