Use Info (to see world information), Save (to save) or Quit (to Quit) at any time. Follow the prompts, and try it out! As an explanation to some things that I've been told are confusing - scan a bunch before you launch, as launching makes them mad. Targeting for scan and launch is the same - either by latitude/longitude (coordinates) or by proximity to a city. Targeting by proximity works by a coordinate plane centered at the city. Pick a city, then a base angle (NSEW), then -90 to 90 degrees off that angle, and finally a distance. For instance, if I put in moscow>>N>>90>>1000, it will target 1000 miles east of moscow. Similarly, volgograd>>S>>-90>>1000 will aim 1000 miles east of volgograd. Finally, enjoy, and don't get blow'd up.
Note that you need both main.py and cities.py in the same folder if you are running the python directly (actually run main.py). The files/information here are provided with NO WARRANTY and NO LIABILITY. Use at your own risk.

Interesting. It like the idea, but I got bored repeatedly typing "scan, proximity, city, direction, angle, distance" over and over. A one-line command like "scan moscow 0 100", or even the option to automatically scan an area over several days would have been nice, since effectively that's what I ended up doing.
High point for me getting two digits mixed up and accidently bombing Volvograd. I should have called Dimitri to apologize.
I tried downloading your source but the two links just go to the File Dropper front page. Can you re-upload them? (Preferably zip them together into a single download, too.)

The presentation (namely, playing in the command window) fit oddly well with the idea of being a missile operator. I'll echo some of the comments here in that it was very repetitive, and I may have been in over my head to begin with.
