Very unfinished and boring game, but almost a game. This was our first entry to Ludum Dare, so we figured we had to submit even though it's lacking in every aspect.
Controls:
Press down left mouse button to add colour, subtract by using right.
Change colours with 1, 2 and 3. Get to the next level by blending all pixels into the background! Almost fun. It is an advantage to not be colour blind. Not having aestetic taste is also a plus.
This game could definitely be a winner if spruced up a bit. Just speed up the blending process and maybe make it more arcade-y (add a time limit, squares that aren't supposed to be blended, powerups, etc.) Lots of creative ways for ya' to polish this title if you so desire.

Thanks for the kind words! Yes, we were thinking about adding time limit and some more mechanics, but we were not able to fully prioritize LD this weekend. Looking forward to next time though! :D
