(ld29) Beneath The Memories: POST-MORTEM

Holy crap, I actually did it. I managed to submit a game. This was my first Ludum Dare and my god have I learned a lot.

The Good: I surprisingly had a great amount of fun during this. Being my first LD, I thought I would be stressed the entire time, but even though I worked till the very end, I never felt like I wouldn’t make it. It was a great time, and I am sure to do it again.

The Bad: There were a few things that I wish I had done differently. Like I wish I planed my game out a little more, maybe on paper, to make the levels more engaging.

The Ugly: …myself, because I didn’t sleep or shower so I;m sure I looked like a mutant…

What I Learned: Games are awesome, and I absolutely f*cking love making them! I had a blast this weekend, and all ready can’t wait for the next one.

Some Thoughts About My Game: I managed to get a playable thing out there, so I’m happy. The feedback has been amazing so far and I am blown away by how much people like it.

Some Thoughts On YOUR Games: Holy shit… you guys are talented. I seriously think the best part of LudumDare is being able to play and rate so many awesome games. I will never be bored again, there are so many that I bookmarked and plan to play again. Goof job guys, you all kick-ass!

All In All: I had a great time, you guys rock, this community is great, and if you can’t tell I’m pretty happy. :)
