Sometimes it loses focus so you can't click on the menu buttons. If this happens, close the tab and try again. Or, ideally, download the Windows version of the game which does not have this issue :)
Instructions:

-W,A,S,D or cursor keys to walk around
-Mouse to aim reticle at things to interact with
-Space or E to interact with thing you're looking at
-X to dismount from stool or put down photo
-Press Escape twice during the game to return to main menu
