A long, long, long time ago, in the year 1994, Earth was faced with a war of apocalyptic nature: The Phurby War. It all started when these cute and yet oddly strange looking creatures started invading our world. The supernatural forces seemed to be completely obsessed with them, and it seemed to be for no apparent reason. The angels from the Obenterra descended upon Earth to recover these Phurbies. Much to their surprise, the demons from Unterterra were also interested in these interesting creatures. There was no way they would ever share these wonderful creatures, they had to fight for them.
Much blood was shed, but only one side could come out victorious. Obenterra was victorious and claimed the Phurbies as their own. For many years to follow, the Obenterrans would be in full control of the Phurbies and had no contact with the Unterterrans.
It wasn't until 2001 when Phurby War II happened. But no one actually cared about that war. The Phurbies tried to revolt against the Obenterrans for freedom, but they were silly to think they could ever escape them. The war pitted furry Phurbies against all-powerful Obenterrans. Luckily for the Phurbies, they were smart enough to realize that they were overpowered after the first five casualties and simply gave up the eight-hour long war.
Finally, it was the year 2012 and the Unterterrans got tired of having to give up their Phurby Rights to the Obenterrans. They decided to go for a sneak attack. After 18 years of not hearing a single word from the Unterterrans, the Obenterrans basically forgot about their very existence! This was their chance. The Unterterrans disguised themselves as Phurbies and went up to Obenterra. Once there, they stole all of the actual Phurbies and brought them back down to Unterterra. By the time the Obenterrans realized what had happened, it was too late.
Unfortunately, the game developers grew wary, and the phurby wars reached an armistice.
