To play this game, I recommend a wired mouse with two button (and a scroll wheel is a plus). If you're stuck with a trackpad, you can click and hit spacebar to disconnect ropes.
For Linux folks: grab LOVE ( http://www.love2d.org/ ), and you'll be able to play the .love file linked below... sadly I can't build Linux binaries.
