Iridescence is an endless runner type game. After a huge cataclysm the World is shattered into pieces. You, a square with eyes, have to jump between realities as you can only collide with fragments in the same color as you. And you don't want to know what's waiting below.
Made in Javascript with Phaser.io (works in Chrome and Firefox).
CONTROLS: SPACEBAR - jump/double jump (hold for a longer flight) A - switch to the red reality S - switch to the green reality D - switch to the blue reality
Nice game , kinda hard . And not sure about this effect (don't know it's name :D but the strips like it's TV) i could play long as it keep making my red :D
Very nice entry, interesting to see another take on the "worlds as colours" approach that I took as well! It's quite difficult, but in a good way. I don't know if the scanline effect isn't a bit too much, but otherwise it was great!
Neat scanlines / noise, a pretty tricky game! I had trouble remembering which button gives me which color, so maybe an on screen indicator could make it easier.
Very nice! With a little tuning this could be a really addictive little game :) (and custom controls, for some reason i found myself preferring to jump with the left hand and change colors with the right)
