This game was originally designed for the NM Game Jam, running during the same weekend, which had the theme of "You can accomplish anything in life, provided you do not mind who gets the credit" H.S. Truman The Ludum Dare theme of "Connected Worlds" was kept at the back of the team's mind during development.
This game matches the theme of accomplishing anything without minding who gets the credit because the tireless efforts of the nanobots will go largely unnoticed. The doctors who invented the Anti-Cancer Capsid will be taking all the credit. Even if your nanobot dies, the rest will continue to escort the capsid. Therefore, you can still win even if your character doesn't make it. You can see "Connected Worlds" in the meshing of mechanical and biological required for the entire endeavor.

Gotta say: love the art and overall style. My roommate, a nurse, has to say: wish you explained the antibodies and what they were doing. What can I say, she's a nerd.

My nano-friends was helping me shooting at first but then stoped to fire at ennemies without any reasons on every game. bonus pointfor the Y projectile who get stucks on nanos and must be cleared. It would have been so fun if your firend would have actually try to fire at you to help to get rid of them.
Very nice graphics. I loved the title screen. Impressive array of mechanics/animations, but having no decceleration makes everything feel very jagged. I felt the music was nice but didn't seem particularly appropriate to the game? - qualia
This game is really nice. Very well done. The turning path keeps the game challenging, the graphics are well put together, the animations are smooth, the audio enhances instead of distracting, and you even hit the sense of urgency with the rumbling shadow. Nice entry! Well well done.
Very solid entry, but allow me a bit of critiscism, the controls, feel a bit inappropriate for this kind of game, using WASD feels very inacurete, if I could use the mouse as the target, everything would flow much more naturally and the player would have more controll over where he/she shoots.

It's an issue with DirectX. You can try updating it, and see if that works.
