You are a yard sale hawk, traveling from planet to planet to scope out the latest deals. On each planet, you can check out the classified listings, scoping out pieces of junk other aliens might have looked over. When you see something you want to buy, you get to try to negotiate down the seller to get a good price. Fly to another planet, and start negotiation anew as you try to peddle your wares to the inhabitants of that world!
You can get your items appraised to find their true value, but doing so is a double-edged sword; you might find that something you paid a lot of money for is worthless.
I didn't play through all 30 days yet, but liked what I saw. The item names were funny, and added flavor to the game :)
I did run into an issue where, after I'd sell an item, the same item would still be in my inventory, and could seemlingly be sold again, but I wouldn't get money after the first time. It disappeared when I travelled to the next planet though, so it wasn't a huge deal.
Thanks for the tip! Found + fixed the bug, although being a relative newbie to LD I'm not sure whether it's in the spirit of the compo or not to upload a new version...
First-timer myself, but reading the bottom part about "MY GAME CRASHES...", it sounds like we can't. Would have liked to fix a minor bug myself, but oh well :)
I'm actually very sad that this didn't get a good rating I found it an amazing game, I came back to it to pay again after noticing it on my iPad, then I realized it was from here.
