I based my entry on the common scene from Stargate where a bunch of unwashed rabble are being evacuated through the gate under fire. It's short, but to the point.
The whole thing is written in C#/Mono and uses System.Drawing for graphics. You can run the game on Linux with "mono connectedworlds.exe" or on Windows with a double-click.
