So this is my first attempt ever at Ludum Dare. Needless to say, things didn't go quite as planned. Had some issues making graphics and some issues with collision programming. I'll probably use a physics/collision library next time I try this.

But here it is in all its majesty: Fighting some aliens/robot/things on stage!

Very interesting game. Would have liked to see some kind of restart button so I wouldn't have to refresh every time.

The basic game loop is a good concept, but I found the controls and collisions a bit unintuitive. Congrats on your first entry!

The art is really cute! Fun little game. I had much more luck killing aliens when I spawned as the cannon character :)
