Always love a space game, though on all the planets I could sell higher than I bought negating the need to leave a planet at all make money, instead infinite money could be had just buy buying and selling the same materials over and over.
Nice space trade game not too small, not too big. Actually it works well but it lack of more graphics mostly for characters, a great add could be also some simple animation for travelling.
The perfect add could be a simple indication of moneuy balance for each trade option.
Not my stuff, but it works with no bugs, and it's in the theme. What else? ;)
I can see what you're trying to do here, but I ended up having some serious issues.
It might have been to do with having too many traders or something, but everything I bought had a sale price higher than its purchase price, so the fastest way to make money was to just mass buy and sell things.
Such a major exploit wound up making the game pointless for me, which is a shame, since the sprite-work and sound were pretty good. :(
@OFF & @RockhopperGames Of course I didn't think about the money issue when I was adding the crew classes :/ I just removed the Trader class to fix that exploit. Now you can only sell goods for the same price you bought them for.
Cool concept, would benefit a lot of more animations. Maybe we could even see crew move about the ship, go to lunch, drink, do their job, etc... There would be lots of room expanding this!
Interesting game, but I guess a little tweak of the gain/loss ratios could be done. And maybe adding an evaluation of the cost/gain for buy/sell goods, for now the player have to wrote that by himself, if he/she wants to play "seriously". ;)
