I used 36 out of the 48 hours to make this game 4 hours of sleeping and 32 hours of pure game development with a burning desire to finish, This is the 3rd LD i participated in and im pretty happy with what came out.
Fizz X is a fun arcade space shooter which allows you to shoot the incoming enemies to gain points, points can then be used to buy turrets, upgrade your health, buy grenades and more! Challenge your friends and see how far you can get (I made it to round 30 before dieing)
WARNING: Boss waves are messed up, only the first boss appears not sure why. 1. Left mouse button- shoot 2. Right mouse button - switch between Grenades/Regular Ammo 3. Escape - Opens the shop 4.Aim with the mouse button I advise you to upgrade your guns first Spend your points wisely!

The music track for this game is stellar. Perhaps that's because I have a soft spot for electronic arcade-feeling sounds. The mechanics are really nice and easy to learn. Well done!
You might want to up the difficulty a bit or add a variety of enemy though. I'm just upgrading my gun + spread and I'm killing enemy really fast. Not to mention there's an instant kill powerup. :3
Great game, probably the one I've spend the most time yet on! But the difficulty doesn't scale properly, if you just buy better gun and spread on every level you're good to go, got to lvl 24 before I quit :)
Most fun game that I have played so far. Good graphics and fun gameplay. The hit was definitely a must. But after 10 minutes of play the game becomes way to easy.
Thank you all!! Yea i agree with you that it was too easy after a while if my bosses didnt stop working last minute it would have been harder...I decided to continue the project and ill be sure to keep it difficult!
Awesome music, and good game overall. I've only one complain, right mouse button should just fire a grenade, not switch weapons. Unless there's more weapon in later stages, that I'm not aware of.
On my last run got to the 16th wave with full health, and then died to... something? Perhaps I got shot, but my health clicked down once and I died with +48 displayed :(
Clicking too close to your ship does strange things to the bullets path. I had a couple of random powers activate, and I don't know where they came from, and I didn't have a good indication of my HP. Other than that, was pretty good.
Hi there. Looks and sounds great, like the scope. Wasn't clear which turret you are upgrading. Controls need a bit of work, got a bit overmanic early on. Good job!
