Jump on the Asteroids, avoid the monsters and help our alien friend get back to his home planet! BUT WAIT! it seems it's further away than it looks. This game was created for Ludum Dare 31 by Tony Cicero (Programming and a few other things) and Taylor Tamaris (Graphics and some other stuff). This game is mostly finished and is (or at least should be) stable enough to play.
EDIT: I have updated the game to fix a few bugs and to remove a few unnecessary files to reduce file size (new file size is about 5MB)

Well, the audio reminds off 90's internet connection. The platforms look like poo. I miss a floor on the bottom and you really should fix that jump. But appreciate your effort.
Controls are unusual, but they work fine once you get used to them. I think most platformers do a gravity sort of thing, so the time interval of moving upwards was unusual, but the floaty feel fits the game style : ) I got a top score of five after getting into the flow a bit. Those purple aliens are fast!
Thanks guys! And this was the first time I've done any programming in several months and I had school on the last day so time ended up being pretty tight.
