The pixel art ist really good looking and these are probably the scariest snowmen I've ever seen. A health indicator would have been useful.

Oh man the multiplayer aspect is great. Gameplay itself isn't very complex but the art is great and the atmosphere is done well too.

I agree with @rnlf, a health indicator would be useful, but I enjoyed playing and the multiplayer aspect is awesome. Good job, although i found it difficult to land a hit as i appeared to have to be on exactly the same level as the snowman to kill him.

It is funny with more players indeed, but sometimes I am alone against the hordes of snowmen! I love the art style, that lumberjack is really funny. But I miss more enemies (maybe I haven't played enought time to see them?).

Man, this is pretty sexy! Love the art a lot. x) Was playing with some stranger, I accidentally turn chat on, and couldn't turn it off. ._. What's the button that toggles it on or off? Can imagine the fun of playing in a lobby with like 8 or more players, it'd be really cool!

Great little game, I love the art style and the multiplayer aspect. It'd be cool if players could work together to build defenses, but that's probably out of the scope of a gamejam game, especially one with online multiplayer.

Cool graphics and game play. I really appreciate that snowmen are melt by fire. It's a very cool detail. Multiplayer works nice. I think, that this game could be a little bit easier. Pixel art is very nice? me thanks to the artist.

The concept is neat - I like the multiplayer aspect, the game itself has some usability issues like the lack of a health bar. Nice pixel art.

Still is a pretty good game.

The treeman seems invincible... I hit that thing dozens of times and still it did not fall. Is there any way to win? Maybe it just requires a huge number of hits?
I then tried leading the tree over the fire but nothing happened...

The combat requires too much kiting. I wish the axe could hit multiple snowmen. At one point all of the snowmen in the stage had clumped up around the treeman to form a meatshield. Snowmeatshield.

Nice work on the multiplayer aspect though. The art is also cohesive.

Very good job Juuso liked how they melted when they got to the fire. So had a strategy to stand near it and just kill the snowmen that came from the top :)

@rnlf & others who want health indicator: whose health indicator you mean? snowmen? yours?

@pixelpig: yeh, the hit indicator is not good. It's not giving goodback about the distance/direction you must be at... and since the AI tries to align itself with same "y", it kind of makes things worse.

This one is great! I didn't however see any other limberjacks, c'mon people! The artwork is beautiful, and I LOVED the hybrid snowmen/zombie, great idea. I didn't see any sort of scoring or progression, so there might be your first improvement. Multiplayer is SO impressive for a jam entry, great job. I think the audio was decent but could be much better with music or any sort of variation. Glad to see more than one enemy also. Humor is top notch, and despite how simple it is I played it over and over, its great fun.

Great Job! I thought the Fireside could be used to melt icemen, it would be a rewarding action :) Seeing it being penalised was kinda bummer, i suggest you think about it :)

Atmospheric with neat graphics.

lovely art and atmosphere! I found the movement a little bit sluggish and like others suggested already some form of indicator for your own health would be good and more directional (or obviously directional) attacks!

Making all the sounds with your mouth is pretty hardcore, I really noticed though. It did sort of work against the creepy mood...

Hi, quite a cool multiplayer game! No end screen triggered while I was playing - but apart from that I thought it was pretty good. Loved the art!

@Code Medicine: It's interesting that you mention snowmen/zombies... since I really didn't think of them as zombies. But I guess they kind of are!

Thanks for all the ideas (scoring, progression, music variation): I totally agree on all of those.

@Saf: very good observation. It was my idea to make it so that you could chop of wood & make the fire bigger but that feature had to be cut off due time limits. I'll see if that will be in post-combo. It would add additional strategic element in the survival.

@lemmily: thanks for playing & good points. Yes, the direction of hits (and getting hit) should be more obvious. The player actually has just one hitpoint.

@wilbefast: I'm especially proud about that background wind... mobile phone and gently blowing towards the screen (not the mic) works nicely :D

@RHYnumebrs: loss/victory screen didn't trigger: that's a bug! I'll fix that for post-combo version. I think :)

Really good game, great graphics and well built multiplayer. Having the fire as well as your weapon added a good amount of strategy towards the game. :)

Simple and fun. There isn't much to it, but it is fun in multiplayer.
There is a lot you can polish on this game.

Props for adding multiplayer, unfortunately there didn't seem to be anyone else on when I tried it, but it seems like the game would be improved a lot by it. It's a bit bare-bones, but its a good start. Excellent pixel art, and I like the epic vocal sound effects.

Do you use LAN to play multiplayer or what? Because I couldn't play multiplayer...
