LITERALLY A PLATFORMER is a platforming game with no checkpoints, and I made in about 4 hours total. I'll update it and make a html5 version from scratch (probably) and a mobile version.
I like the idea of the nano-platformer :) That said, it's still far from being an actual game (feedbacks, better controls, better collision checks, levels, sounds etc.) Would be cool to see what comes out of a few more hours of work on it!
Actually reminds me of a TI83 calculator game I used to play. I think with some added levels, and maybe even a level editor, this could be pretty cool. I did have some issues with the collision detection. Sometimes I'd be hovering, or on red but not dead. Is there a way to win?
The minimalistic graphics really didn't bother me at all.
