Theme: Entire Game on One Screen, I interpreted the word screen as the definition for protection and shielding. You play as the mighty Macho Knight. Macho Knight only has one goal in mind, to protect his Lover from the Hooligans that are trying to kidnap her. You must use your mighty Macho Shield (machoman belt) to fling the hooligans off the fort!
How Long Will You Be Able To Defend Off The Hooligans? Will You Be Able To Save Your One And Only Lover? Will These Questions Stop?

Techniques 1. Enemies will fly further if they are hit whilst airborne 2. Boost off by facing in the opposite direction of your incoming enemies 3. Macho Knight's shield can wear off enemies stamina, making them fall down to the ground (note: point not awarded)
Okay, I loved the graphics of this game. It was so silly, watching macho's little blue helmet thing flap around. It felt satisfying to run into baddies. Really enjoyed it!
I didn't like macho games, when men fight for women's and woman's just watch... It's weird. But the idea is good, easy to play, easy to understand, good music and good game!
Very charming. The graphics are quite nice, and the gameplay itself feels very good. The music, which it's good, doesn't really seem to fit with the aesthetic, however.
I laughed out loud when I first understood the objective =) Nothing like getting bad guys off your tower by ramming into them! really liked the sprite art and oooo, that pixel sky...
Nice concept! I like everything about it, except that the controls are a bit too simple... But that's how you made it, it's not my game :) good job with the graphics and audio!
BUG: Content was stopped because a fatal error was detected. I just did not touch anything and let the two swordsmen converge on the hero and princess.
Interesting little game, very simple yet fun. The inertia thing feels kind of weird though, I got more flight out of the bad guys be running at them from a shorter distance
The game is pretty simple but feels right. The first 20 enemies are a bit boring because it's just click & wait after that point the game shows his potential! Very nice controls/concept/gameplay after all. The very basic feeling of protecting someone while becoming weaker and weaker is quite interesting.
I was playing on mac - in Firefox knight always runs to the left and game soon crashes, in Safari the controls are ok but when enemies reach princes the game crashes. Anyway, I liked graphics and the overall mood of the game :)
@Troilk & @eyeofbri Sorry to hear the game crashed, I seem to have a problem with the game running for mac computers, I however seemed to have fixed the problem with the application version, so if the web build doesn't work for you please give the application a go :D

This was really easy to learn and fun to play! This is definitely one of those LD games that you could sell with more content added. Great pixel art, the music is thematic and not distracting. The color palette is very good, and you give great instructional documentation!
Super cool! All my criticisms are "I want more!" :D The way the game controlled felt very good, I loved pushing people back. I would have liked a goal number to hit, maybe levels or powerups.

Cute graphics, great music! Not sure about the left/right mouse button controls. It's kind of a pain on my Mac's touchpad. Would just as soon use arrow keys.
Mechanically, this game suffers from being too simple. I was able to get to a high score of 260+, and the challenge was not increasing at all. My strategy was very simply just running back and forth, which was not particularly interesting. I also noticed some issues with the sound - when you knock a guy off the side the camera shake causes a slight Doppler effect in the music which sounds like an audio glitch. This was particularly pronounced when I had the game zoomed in while using it in web player mode. The sprites for the macho knight and the girl were super cute, and the music set a fun and quirky tone for the game which matched the gameplay and visuals. I'm interested in your screenshots because they show the fort from a wider angle than I saw in game - this makes me wonder if I was missing something. I feel like you probably could have pushed the mechanics a little harder and made this into a really fun game. Overall though, I had fun, and I'm really looking forward to seeing what you guys come up with for the next LD! Thanks for sharing your game with me!
I could not move the knight with left and right buttons they were just changing knight direction. I could use arrow instead so I was able to play the game. The game was fun, but I was very frustrated by not being able to jump, especially when I land behind an ennemy and have to follow him or even push him in the princess arms... :-/ The music and arts are gold and they really go along.
Really loved the cute little graphics! As others have said, it's a little too simple to be as fun as it could be. I also would have enjoyed it more if the camera were panned out, I wanna see these baddies fall to their deaths!
