Mr. Bushido is late for work, and there are all sorts of obstacles in his way! Can you help him get out of this mess?
Click + Drag in empty space: Create Box (One per level) Click + Hold box: Move Box Hold Space while held: Stop box physics A/D while holding space: Precision turning Q/E or Scroll Wheel: Shift dimensions F: Destroy the current dimension's box R: Reset (leaves boxes where they are) Escape: Pause/Unpause
Expect bugs and such, we were running low on time towards the end :P

Mr. Bushido is a game that has gained my liking. The mechanics are interesting having to scroll around each level to obtain the necessary tools to complete the next, although the tutorial was hard to understand. Also I love the character Mr. Bushido, its a shame that he didnt have a running animation, apart from that art style overall is stunning. Brilliant game!
I liked the concept and the art a lot, especially the title screen. The game mechanics seem like a great idea, but could use some more work. Kick ass job for 72 hours though!
These graphics are pretty bomb. I had some trouble with the boxes physics being where I wanted them to be but it isnt anything too detrimental. Solid work.
Thanks for all the comments guys! We had a lot of fun making it, and we're glad you enjoy it! Unfortunately, the boxes are rather finicky, and I would've worked on them a little more if we had the time, but I'm proud of what I managed to churn out on my first ever game jam :D
Great art and a very interesting idea, especially the dimensions. Even with the additional controls of A/D/Space the controls are still too finicky for me however, it feels like I'm fighting more against the controls than anything else. Since placing boxes at 45° angles doesn't serve any purpose (at least I assume so; I have to be honest and say that I did not finish the game) maybe it's better to lock the rotation at 90° or, if 45° angles are necessary, lock the rotation at 45° and rotate the boxes by using A/D.
Mechanics are really intriguing, but unfortunately the game falls a bit short in fun. Speeding up Mr. Bushido would definitely help, as a good portion of the game is waiting for him to reach the box you put out. Really interesting and you have a good prototype of what could be made into a much larger game. :)
Cool concept! It's simple, but totally fits the theme. The character design is excellent :D What's missing the most is probably sound effects and music.
I could not get the boxes to spawn for the life of me so I was not able to really play this game. It looks great and I really looked forward to playing it.
