I made this game with Java using Eclipse as my IDE. I used the standard awt Graphics library (more details in the source code :) ).

Use your arrow keys to control your player (in the top left arena). Use C to increase and X to decrease difficulty (amount of contestants). Space to reset.

Nice and clean concept. The appearance of the lines seem a bit random which makes me wonder how much my movements matter. I almost liked it more to just watch multiple CPUs competing against each other :)

Just add some music, a highscore, and the difficultys should be different levels. But then it would be great game.
