Pagoda Attack! Use your samurai to destroy pagoda monuments in a cherry tree garden. More pagoda's spawn across 5 levels, getting harder to destroy. Ninja's appear to defeat you and prevent you from destroying their garden. Watch for help from a failed Ludum Dare 31 failed vote getter.
REALLY great SFX work, and I loved the sword animations! I had a lot of trouble controlling, though--I didn't just get stuck on the trees, my dude would constantly walk in the wrong directions even if I wasn't pressing any keys. Might be a bug to look into?
Cripes - thanks for the heads up. I increased the frame size. I couldn't get the all the spots fixed where he sticks before time ran out. Thanks for the feedback!
I liked the music and the general idea, still has some bugs (health, the game doesn't stop when gameover displays), but overall a nice work. Good luck!
Can't say I particularly liked it... Aside from getting stuck on things the controls generally felt slippery, and I wasn't really clear on how my shuriken were being aimed.
The game looks interesting but i was unable to control the shooting mechanism.. i see the aiming but how do i shoot :( Please include the controls in the description..
Should also note that the embedded game on this page is cut off at the top and bottom - most noticeable effect is that you can't see your health.
