Its not as complete as i'd like, but I've got no time left... Stage 1-1 is a game where you're bored while you ride the train, so you decide to play on your phone to pass the time. Its a platformer with procedural level & enemy generation and the goal is to get to a christmas tree!
Hard Mode extends the bounds of the RNG based level generator, so you can get levels up to 30 segments long, and an enemy spawn rates of up to 80%
My challenge to you it is to complete a single run on Hard Mode
Beautiful game ! Seriously, the art is amazing (especially the hand and phone). Also very nice idea. I'm not too found of the controls so I didn't get very far, but great job anyway.
Haha, man I am SO BAD at this game!!! But it's still very well made! And the whole shaky thing is neat, haha. Would have been hilarious if the train sometimes jerks, and the phone tilts a little, causing your character to lose footing, hehe. Anyway, congrats! =)
Very good use of the "all on one screen" theme, very fun gameplay.
As a post-LD project, you should release some sort of actual version of the game on the virtual phone for real phones, so you can re-enact the game. :P
I really like the train sound in the background to make it feel like you're playing a game on an actual phone. The procedural generation is pretty neat and I really like the animation on the snowman. It was a bit hard to control the snowman mid-air though, which ended up with me falling off the platforms more often than I think I should have. Good job!
