Wow this game was so fun. Add sound effects and it would have been awesome! I would rate graphics 4/5 if it would be an option because these break lines are an awesome detail. And i liked the car very much. I give you a mental +1 for using C++
Fairly simple but entertaining nonetheless. I particularly liked the implementation of the car controls, but for some reason when the game launched my screen only displayed the top left corner of the game with the bottom and right sides cropped (I'm currently running 1440x900, it might be the game is trying to render a larger size image).
Good job - I always dread playing Ludum Dare games with car controls because they are usually implemented pretty badly, but your car drives really nicely, and the skidmarks are a really cool touch.
Funny game! The controls for the RC car were tight and quick, which is good for quickly squishing ants! I ran into a few a few glitches especially when colliding with any of the walls of play area. I'd clip into them and have trouble getting out or my car would just vanish altogether! Either way fun in a "I need to kill 3 minutes in a silly fashion" kind of way. Love the idea of using an RC Car as a weapon too. Truly unconventional. Well done.
Its a shame there is no sound for hittting the ants. A squash sound would have it a lot more satisfying. I like the turning circle but would have liked it if it reduce at lower speeds. A lot less ants and maybe having them move would be nice, as I felt I diddn't really have to aim there were so many of them. All in all a solid first jam game, well done.
